Good evening to everybody, our bulgarian and cactuslovers friends!
I am a history teacher from Mangalia, dep. of Constanta, Romania, near the border with your country! I post here because I'm a great fun of the south american genus: Austrocylindropuntia, Cumulopuntia, Maihuenia, Maihueniopsis, Pterocactus and Tephrocactus. I like very much too genus Rebutia, Lobivia and Sulcorebutia.
I invite you, if you'll have the ocasion to visit Romania, Constanta or Mangalia, to see my green house, the green house from Constanta of my friend Basarab Popa and not at least The Callatis Archaeological Museum from Mangalia, free of charge.

Welcome in our forum Mihai,
I hope you like our forum. A few of us ( incl. me and Galin - melaleuca - he lives in Varna and works in the Botanical Garden of Balcik. ) are very interested in South American small Opuntioid genera as well Lobivia, Rebutia, Sulcorebutia and other high mountain genera - just the same you like. I believe you will find good cactus friends in here.

I forgot...i like very much and I have in my garden and in the Museum's garden, a lot of hardy plants from genus hardy-frost Opuntia, Cylindropuntia.

Also Cylindropuntia imbricata, kleiniae, leptocaulis, spinosior but I'll try to make a complete list and I'll send you by e mail.

Dear Mihai, i am impressed! I was travelling constantly to Constata to my colleagues and friends of NINRD Grigore Antipa Constanta,Bul.Mamaia 300. Of cource i am passing trough Mangalia every time.I will be very happy if i had an occasion to vist you and to exchange opinions and to take some plants from you if you have to share, of cource :)
