Good evening to everybody, our bulgarian and cactuslovers friends!
I am a history teacher from Mangalia, dep. of Constanta, Romania, near the border with your country! I post here because I'm a great  fun of the south american genus: Austrocylindropuntia, Cumulopuntia, Maihuenia, Maihueniopsis, Pterocactus and Tephrocactus. I like very much too genus Rebutia, Lobivia and Sulcorebutia.
I invite you, if you'll have the ocasion to visit Romania, Constanta or Mangalia, to see my green house, the green house from Constanta of my friend Basarab Popa and not at least The Callatis Archaeological Museum from Mangalia, free of charge.

Welcome in our forum Mihai,

I hope you like our forum. A few of us ( incl. me  and Galin  - melaleuca - he lives in Varna and works in the Botanical Garden of Balcik. ) are very interested in South American  small Opuntioid genera as well Lobivia, Rebutia, Sulcorebutia and other high mountain genera - just the same you like. I believe you will find good cactus friends in here.

From my memory: O. arenaria, aurea, cymochilla, x columbiana,  fragilis, engelmannii, humifusa, compressa, pusilla, macrocentra, lindheimeri, basilaris, basilaris brachiclada, basilaris cordata, macrorhiza, polyacantha, pottsii, etcaetera. Also Cylindropuntia imbricata, kleiniae, leptocaulis, spinosior but I'll try to make a complete list and I'll send you by e mail.
